We do not want that this happen to you and your baby.

Due to intrauterine malpositions or a childbirth (more or less difficult) , the child may experience tensions/contractures at the level of the jaw, mouth and/or neck.
Just think of a child who is remained channelled for a long time during childbirth, which is born with suction cup or with cord laps umbilical cord around the neck
If the contractures are such that limiting mandibular movement and that of the neck, the sucking of the child is affected and, consequently, also breastfeeding.

With a perfect understanding of the biomechanics of the jaw, mouth and neck region, theosteopath assesses and resolves muscle contractures and the joint tensions limiting the opening of the mouth and the movement of the tongue.
Consequently, it improves the suction quality.
