Volunteering in neonatal osteopathy

For years now, I have been treating hundreds of newborns every month for major neonatal problems including sucking and breastfeeding problems, gaseous colic, myogenic torticollis, positional plagiocephalyetc.

From June 2021 I decided to open a volunteer clinic in neonatal osteopathy with the aim of offering timely support to the mother-child dyad regarding the sucking and breastfeeding problems.
Perché faccio volontariato?
Suckling and breastfeeding problems are extremely common in new mothers. Our experience (mine and that of the midwives I work with) has taught us that, unfortunately, many of the requests for breastfeeding assistance come to us when the problematic is in advanced or compromised state.
As health professionals, our desire is to work in a state of prevention and health.
That's where the idea of volunteering for babies from 0 to 11 days of age comes from!
Il mio ambizioso obiettivo è quello di instaurare una culture of prevention e demonstrate which ogni mamma può allattare al seno with the right obstetric and osteopathic support (to the child).
Chi ne può usufruire?
Ogni mese dedicherò 2/3 first visits free of charge for infants who have less than 11 days old.
So if you are a pregnant woman or have just given birth, you can request the first osteopathic examination for your baby.
PLEASE NOTE: lo scopo delle visite è quello di dimostrare che ogni mamma può allattare con il giusto supporto ostetrico ed osteopatico.
